Acknowledgement of Sound Bath Experience

I understand that a sound bath is a relaxation experience using instruments such as crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and other sound healing instruments. The intention is to create a calming environment through sound and vibration to support relaxation and overall well-being.

I acknowledge that:

• Sound baths are not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or professional healthcare.

• Results vary for each individual and there are no guaranteed outcomes.

• My participation is entirely voluntary and I may choose to stop or leave the session at any time.

Sound bath sessions may be facilitated by Kim McNaughton (Alchemy of Sound, LLC) and may also include collaborative practitioners including Noi Keothammakhoun (Saola Sparkle LLC) and Neena Raquel (Drift Sonic Wellness LLC), as well as other invited sound healing or wellness practitioners.

Possible Risks & Contraindications

Sound baths are generally safe for most people, but there are some circumstances where they may not be appropriate.

I confirm that I will inform the facilitator(s) if any of the following apply to me:

Pregnancy
Especially during the first trimester — participation should only be with prior approval from a healthcare provider.

Epilepsy or Seizure Disorders
Vibrations and sound frequencies may trigger symptoms in some individuals.

Serious Mental Health Conditions
Such as untreated PTSD, schizophrenia, or other conditions where sound or vibration may worsen symptoms.

Pacemakers or Metal Implants
Strong vibrations may interfere with medical devices or cause discomfort.

Recent Surgery or Severe Illness
Participation may not be advisable until fully recovered.

Hearing Sensitivities
Individuals with hearing aids, tinnitus, Ménière’s disease, or extreme sensitivity to sound should exercise caution.

By signing below, I confirm that I do not have any of these contraindications, or if I do, I have consulted with a medical professional and received clearance to attend.

Release of Liability

I voluntarily choose to participate in this sound bath session and assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or adverse reactions that may occur.

I hereby release and hold harmless:

• Kimberly McNaughton and Alchemy of Sound, LLC

• Noi Keothammakhoun and Saola Sparkle LLC

• Neena Raquel and Drift Sonic Wellness LLC

• The event venue, host locations, collaborating practitioners, assistants, and affiliates

from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the sound bath experience.

I acknowledge that each practitioner maintains their own professional responsibility and insurance where applicable.

I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to the terms as part of my event registration and participation.
